Ashley Jones is a pioneering advocate whose dedication to justice led to the passing of The Family Proceedings (Dissolution of Marriage or Civil Union for Family Violence) Amendment Bill, better known as Ashley’s Law. This groundbreaking legislation allows individuals experiencing family violence to safely dissolve a marriage or civil union without being forced to wait for the perpetrator’s consent, offering a crucial lifeline for victims seeking escape from abuse.
